Henry-Pacifique Mayala

Henry-Pacifique Mayala coordinates the Kivu Security Tracker (KST), Ebuteli’s research project on violence in eastern DRC, where he oversees research, data analysis and partner relations.

He has over twelve years of experience in research, information management and project management in support of evidence-based decision-making and humanitarian coordination. Before joining Ebuteli, he worked for RHA, INSO, UNICEF and iMMAP, providing contextual analysis of security and humanitarian access dynamics in the Sahel and Central Africa.

Committed to civic engagement and the protection of civilians, Henry-Pacifique is a Chevening Scholar, a Mandela Washington Fellow and a Fellow of the International Strategy Forum (ISF). He has contributed analysis to the African Desk for Strategic Analysis (AFRIDESK). He holds an MSc in Global Politics (Security & Governance) from Birkbeck, University of London.
